    The band your radio transmits on.

    Match the tested range, not the marketing range.

  • Gain

    For most designs, the lower figure.

    High gain trades beam width for range — it only wins on a fixed link.

  • Connector

    Whatever your board already has.

    Check pin gender: RP-SMA and SMA look alike and do not mate.
